Insurance and Payment Information


At Heart Shine Counseling, we do not accept insurance directly. However, to help manage therapy costs, we offer superbills, which are detailed invoices you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. Each session is paid for out-of-pocket, and we will provide the necessary documentation to support your reimbursement request.

Please note: Using a superbill will require a mental health diagnosis for insurance reimbursement, as many providers only cover services deemed medically necessary. We encourage you to contact your insurance company to confirm their policy on out-of-network mental health services.

While reimbursement is not guaranteed, we aim to make the process as smooth as possible while offering the highest quality care.

Forms of Payment Accepted
At Heart Shine Counseling we strive to make payment as convenient as possible. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, as well as Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards. Unfortunately, we do not accept checks at this time. All payments are due at the time of service.

Online or in-person, this session will be an information gathering session to determine your wants, needs and goals for therapy.

Individual Therapy

Online or in-person, this is designated for individuals to process and explore their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Typically, meetings are weekly or bi-weekly.

50 mins | $150 | Get started

Family Therapy

Online or in-person, these sessions can be added on as a supplement to individual therapy to address any pressing family issues. In-person recommended.
